Summary: In this part of the paper, we consider Gilgamesh trip to Mount Mashu. We identify this mountain with the Anye Maquen range, close to the sources of the Yellow River, sacred to the local Ngolok population. We propose that Gilgamesh reached this mountain via the Zungarian Gates.
