Summary: This paper will deal with the imaginations of different religious motives concerning life, death and rebirth. It will establish that the representation of cave drawings in Lascaux, France, was equivalent to the religious ideas of the old Egypt ten thousand years later. Moreover the motives of circle and spiral could be proved from the Neolithicum till present all over the world. It is possible to follow these figures in temporal sequence so that wanderings of people could be found out. The most interesting fact was that the meaning of these symbols was constant in a period of around 15.000 years.
